    OUR MISSION

    It is the purpose of the Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin State Honor Guard to:
    • Render tribute and to honor our fallen brothers and sisters
    • Assist departments and locals throughout Wisconsin in time of need; and
    • Properly display and show respect towards the colors we fly and the proud profession we serve
     
         
  • Active Line of Duty Funeral

    Active Line of Duty Funeral
    This individual gave the ultimate sacrifice. This is just a small way we can show the honor this individual deserves.
    ·         Advising the Fire Department and Local of proper funeral protocol.
    ·         Posting of the colors at the casket (USA and State flags).
    ·         Posting of two guards at the casket during visitation.
    ·         Reading of poem(s).
    ·         Performing the bell ceremony.
    ·         Playing of bag pipes.
    ·         Playing of Taps.
    ·         Presentation of helmet/personal equipment.
    ·         Rendering of honor salute.
    ·         Leading a marching procession.
    ·         Folding and presentation of the American flag.
    ·         Any other duties the family or the FD/Local requests
    .    Pall Bearer duties
    ***Please remember that the FAMILY’S wishes are top priority over the FD and Locals***
