    OUR MISSION

    It is the purpose of the Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin State Honor Guard to:
    • Render tribute and to honor our fallen brothers and sisters
    • Assist departments and locals throughout Wisconsin in time of need; and
    • Properly display and show respect towards the colors we fly and the proud profession we serve
     
         
  • Active Non-Line of Duty Funeral

    Active Duty Funeral
    This is normally an unexpected accident and we would like to help the family and fellow
    firefighters through this by honoring their lost loved one.
    ·         Assisting the Fire Department and Local with proper funeral protocols.
    ·         Posting of the colors at the casket.
    ·         Posting of one guard at the casket during visitation.
    ·         Reading of poem(s).
    ·         Assist in finding bag pipers.
    ·         Playing of Taps if a veteran
    ·         Presentation of helmet/personal equipment.
    ·         Rendering of Final salute.
    ·         Coordinating walking/vehicle procession.
    ·         Folding an American Flag if member was a veteran
    ·         Any other duties the family or the FD/Local requests
    ***Please remember that the FAMILY’S wishes are first priority, then the FD and Locals***
